As an official telecom sponsor of the 2026 tournament, Verizon hosted a high-energy watch party for press and influencers at La Contenta Oeste, a beloved Mexican restaurant in the West Village. The venue choice served as a meaningful nod to Mexico, one of the official host countries of the upcoming World Cup, setting the stage for a globally inspired brand activation rooted in culture, community, and connection.
Guests were treated to curated food and drinks alongside immersive activations that brought the spirit of international soccer to life. At the heart of the experience was Four Hands Embroidery’s onsite embroidery station, where attendees were invited to customize their event gifts in real time. Each guest received Verizon-branded hip packs and FIFA jerseys, which were transformed into one-of-a-kind keepsakes through digital embroidery.
Our team embroidered personalized monograms and custom patches featuring flags from the teams participating in the World Cup qualifiers.
